This role will be conducted entirely via telehealth, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while reaching clients throughout Germantown, Maryland, and beyond. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, ongoing assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health needs to inform personalized treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare workers, and family members to provide updates on client progress, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach.
  • Develop and maintain a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and assessments to facilitate structured client management.
  • Coordinate and conduct home visits as necessary to observe client behavior in their personal environments and gather comprehensive data for assessments.
  • Implement treatment plans with fidelity, ensuring clients receive appropriate interventions and support in line with their unique needs and goals.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to foster collaboration and integrate approaches that improve overall client care.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client progress and program effectiveness.
  • Organize training sessions for staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective service delivery.
  • Follow up with clients through interviews and home visits as part of ongoing support to enhance their treatment experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and community mental health resources to provide comprehensive support and information for clients.
  • Assist in the development of training materials that improve the quality of care and services provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCPC will engage with a diverse client population, including both adults and youth, who may be facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Your expertise in various therapeutic modalities will enable you to tailor interventions that resonate with clients from different backgrounds, thereby improving their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted Licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
