White River Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our esteemed therapy team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients' healing journeys.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to encourage proactive engagement in their mental health.
  • Monitor and document client progress accurately while revising treatment plans as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated treatment that considers all aspects of client health.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and advances related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client outcomes.

Your role is crucial in assisting these individuals in navigating their struggles and fostering their resilience.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of trust and rapport with clients.
  • A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
