Head Start Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time remote counselor. This role is integral to providing high-quality behavioral health support to individuals and families facing challenges related to substance use and mental health. You will play a key role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans while offering case management and counseling services.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you flexibility in your work-life balance while still ensuring a collaborative approach to client care. As part of our detox center, you will leverage digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions, co-manage cases, and engage in ongoing training and supervision with peers and supervisors. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for youth, adults, and families referred to Maryhaven for outpatient treatment.
  • Provide individual and couples therapy through virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by clients.
  • Manage case coordination and follow-up activities to ensure continuity of care, actively working to connect clients with additional resources when necessary.
  • Maintain an organized schedule of client appointments, proactively managing your calendar to ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Complete thorough and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, utilizing electronic health record systems to maintain accurate client records and progress notes.
  • Utilize billing services for handling claims processing, client accounts, and insurance eligibility to streamline administrative duties.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall treatment efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
