Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual mental health needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), across individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Engage actively with patients to track progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document all clinical interactions in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend weekly supervision sessions with the clinical director or lead therapist to ensure quality of care and continuous professional growth.
  • Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment strategies and ensure coordination of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and ethical standards in mental health care to ensure compliance and exemplary service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with children and adolescents alongside their families, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Additionally, you will have opportunities for cross-training to broaden your skillset by working with adult clients, thereby enhancing your versatility as a mental health practitioner.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field that meets state licensing requirements.
