Total Communication Therapy is hiring a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time and part-time school-based position.
We are a speech therapy private practice owned and operated by a certified speech-language pathologist. We are seeking to further expand the Total Communication Therapy team.
We are committed to growing and supporting the capabilities of our therapist by providing frequent and direct supervision, feedback, and SLP tools and resources to support and create the best outcomes. Skill Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) due process requirements
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in conducting/interpreting comprehensive speech/language evaluations; thorough knowledge and skills in providing speech/language therapy services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding evaluations, treatments, and further resources
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to plan and deliver speech-language services.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Screen, evaluate, and provide speech-language therapy for students with identified speech-language impairments.
Education Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in speech language pathology required
Requirements
  • Valid Georgia state licensure at the time of interview and CCC's.
  • Experience with virtual speech therapy techniques and assessment tools.
  • At least 1 year of virtual school experience
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
  • Must be available to travel to Atlanta to the district for fingerprinting prior to start date.
