Tektronix is a global leader in test and measurement technologies. Our tools help engineers push the boundaries of what's possible: from quantum research to electric vehicles, communications to aerospace & defense.
The Engineering Leadership Accelerator Co-Op offers a hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of engineering, customer needs, and business impact. You'll work within one of our AMR region sales teams, supporting real customer engagements, problem-solving technical challenges, and learning how complex systems are brought to market.
This is a unique opportunity to see how your technical background can unlock business-critical value, in ways most students never get to see in a classroom or lab.
Who You Are
  • We're looking for high-performing students who are:
  • Majoring in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • Excellent communicators with a curiosity for understanding both how things work and why they matter
  • Eager to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world innovation challenges
  • Interested in exploring how technology gets evaluated, adopted, and deployed by some of the world's most advanced customers
  • Open to full-time summer roles and/or part-time during the school year (flexible schedules supported)

What You'll Do
  • Engage in real customer scenarios: learning how technical conversations translate into business decisions
  • Support our technical sales teams in analyzing technical problems, preparing solution strategies, and identifying key decision drivers
  • Shadow customer meetings and gain exposure to product strategy, use cases, and high-impact engineering applications
  • Develop presentation and business case skills by contributing to internal leadership updates and project reviews
  • Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and marketing
  • Contribute to team strategy, business reviews, and regional planning discussions
  • Collaborate with other interns and new hires across Tektronix to build connections and leadership skills

What You'll Gain
  • Real-world experience bridging technology and business
  • Exposure to AI, energy, aerospace, and academic research markets
  • Mentorship and leadership visibility
  • A professional network and experience that will differentiate you, whether you pursue technical sales, product management, consulting, or engineering
  • A launching pad into career-defining opportunities at Tektronix or across the Ralliant portfolio

Program Timing & Logistics
  • Flexible start dates: open throughout the year
  • Full-time (40 hrs/week) during summer or academic breaks
  • Part-time (up to 20 hrs/week) during the school year
  • Internship may be remote, hybrid, or tied to one of our regional hubs (depending on the team)
