• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address clients' specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting techniques based on varied client backgrounds and circumstances.
• Employ a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to ensure effective mental health support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic care that encompasses all aspects of client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations within counseling practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and conferences to stay informed about the latest advances and research in the field of mental health.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
