Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of clients to evaluate their substance abuse history and associated mental health conditions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction issues and any underlying psychological factors.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to facilitate recovery and personal growth.
• Collaborate closely with other treatment professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Engage families in the therapeutic process, educating them on addiction and recovery to foster a supportive home environment for clients.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation of all client interactions and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with the latest research and strategies in addiction treatment to deliver the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults of all backgrounds who are facing challenges related to substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients range from those experiencing their first encounter with addiction to individuals in various stages of recovery. You will leverage your expertise to assist clients in identifying their triggers, developing coping strategies, and achieving their personal recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for addressing both substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Outstanding therapeutic skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients toward positive behavioral changes.
• Strong communication abilities that facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly desirable, although training will be provided for those new to this modality.
• Prior involvement in developing treatment curricula or innovative therapeutic strategies in the context of substance abuse treatment is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex cases involving severe addiction and dual diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits
