Health Assessment & Counseling PLLC is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote clinical team. • Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' backgrounds, presenting issues, and mental health history, thus facilitating the development of individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services, including individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique context.
• Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure holistic treatment approaches and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and training programs, contributing to your professional development and keeping abreast of best practices and recent advancements in the field.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all client interactions, aligning with legal requirements and our organization's policies.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, adult couples, and families. An understanding of the complexities faced by different demographics — including but not limited to socio-economic factors, relationship dynamics, and generational issues — is essential in providing effective therapy. Your expertise will empower clients to enhance their relationships and cope with personal challenges they may face.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California, with an emphasis on compliance with state laws and regulations.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical setting, demonstrating competence in therapeutic practices.
• Experience providing therapy to diversified populations, showcasing adaptability and sensitivity to varying client needs.
• In-depth knowledge of diagnostic tools and treatment planning processes utilizing the DSM-5.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Proficient in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Experience working with specialized client groups, such as at-risk youth or couples facing significant relational challenges.
• Familiarity with community resources to assist clients in accessing additional support services as needed.
• Engagement in professional networks or studies that promote best practices in marriage and family therapy.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
