This position operates within a remote work setting, allowing for greater flexibility while delivering services directly to schools. Our clinicians work collaboratively with educational professionals to provide on-site interventions and remote support, utilizing telehealth tools to ensure accessibility for all students, regardless of their circumstances. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships with school staff and families, emphasizing a collaborative and integrative treatment model.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students, gathering information regarding their mental health concerns, strengths, and resources, and utilizing this information to inform treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each student, including setting measurable goals and selecting appropriate interventions.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Facilitate crisis interventions, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans to ensure the welfare of students in distress.
• Collaborate with educational staff, mental health professionals, and families to implement client-centered approaches that enhance overall student welfare.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards to track client progress and outcomes.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups aimed at promoting mental wellness and educating students, families, and staff about mental health topics.

In this role, you will focus on a diverse client population, primarily consisting of school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and social challenges. Your interventions will not only support the students directly, but also offer guidance to families and educators in creating a supportive environment conducive to learning and emotional growth.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
• A solid understanding and experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored for children and adolescents.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with students, families, and educational staff.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a mental health or outpatient clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Experience in a school-based environment or familiarity with the educational system.
• Proficiency in telehealth technology and remote counseling platforms.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
