Green Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position. This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements while collaborating closely with team members in a supportive virtual environment. As a school-based clinician, your role will entail interacting with students, educators, and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care. You will work within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with typical work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasionally, evening or weekend hours may be required based on the specific needs of clients and availability.

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients, consisting of individual therapy, crisis intervention, and case management, specifically aimed at addressing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, participating in case conferences and contributing your expertise to achieve shared goals.
• Utilize best practices when assessing client needs and formulating treatment plans that prioritize clients' choices and empowerment.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and organizational guidelines, ensuring all records are up to date and confidential.
• Facilitate educational and awareness programs within the school setting to promote mental health and wellbeing.
• Actively engage in continuous professional development and training sessions to refine your skills and stay abreast of current therapeutic methodologies.

The primary focus of this role will be on children and adolescents in school settings. You will work closely with students facing various challenges, including behavioral issues, emotional distress, family dynamics, and peer relationships. By understanding the unique context of each client, you will help develop individualized strategies that enhance their coping skills and strengthen their overall emotional resilience.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required, with a current and valid LCSW license in Connecticut.
• Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, including risk assessment and crisis management procedures.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely documentation of services provided.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in a school or community counseling setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural sensitivities.

• Base salary ranging from $85,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
