• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate the mental health needs of students in a school setting.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual goals and challenges of each student, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, engaging students in meaningful dialogue and activities that promote mental wellness and resilience.

• Work collaboratively with educators, school administrators, and other mental health specialists to create a supportive environment conducive to student learning and emotional development.

• Provide educational resources and support to families, encouraging active involvement in their child’s mental health journey and fostering a community of support.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times.

You will primarily serve a diverse student population, addressing various mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues within the school environment. Your role ensures that each student receives personalized attention tailored to their unique circumstances, building a foundation for their lifelong mental health.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), permitting you to practice in Texas.

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly within educational or community settings.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices and strategies for addressing mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices is an advantage.

• Demonstrated success in developing and leading group therapy sessions.

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, based on your experience and credentials.
