• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, including discharge plans as needed.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students dealing with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, including clinical and progress notes, adhering to departmental policies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, educators, and other professionals to share insights regarding patient progress, needs, and potential problems.
• Deploy crisis intervention strategies to support students facing immediate emotional distress, ensuring appropriate referral and follow-up.
• Engage with families and support systems to coordinate support for students’ mental health needs, fostering a collaborative therapeutic environment.

This role focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, dealing with various psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will play a critical role in identifying challenges students face both in school and at home, ensuring they receive the appropriate support tailored to their unique situations.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient or school environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical records, teletherapy platforms, and standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Experience in school-based mental health services is highly desirable, helping to streamline your ability to understand and address the specific needs of students.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and therapeutic modalities designed for children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems that benefit student mental health.
