This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being integrated into a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Our team consists of psychologists, teachers, and educational specialists who work together synergistically to address the varied mental health needs of students. Although remote, LCSWs will engage through video calls, emails, and scheduled online meetings, maintaining consistent communication with both students and colleagues.

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for students, gathering information regarding their personal and academic history to identify specific needs and risk factors.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target mental health challenges, promote emotional resilience, and assist students in successfully integrating into the school community.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to address a variety of psychological concerns.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies for students.
• Collaborate with educational staff and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care, including regular check-ins and updates regarding patient progress.
• Remain available for urgent mental health situations, providing crisis intervention when necessary, including some on-call duties as needed.

The LCSW will serve a diverse student population, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. Students may present with challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related concerns. The LCSW's role is pivotal in not only treating these conditions but also in fostering an environment of trust where students feel safe to express their concerns.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to service delivery.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with team members and students.

• Previous experience in a school setting or working directly with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with remote counseling technology and platforms is a plus.
