Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target mental health challenges, promote emotional resilience, and assist students in successfully integrating into the school community.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to address a variety of psychological concerns.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies for students.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care, including regular check-ins and updates regarding patient progress.
  • Remain available for urgent mental health situations, providing crisis intervention when necessary, including some on-call duties as needed.
