This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while still requiring occasional presence on-campus at the associated educational institution to address crisis situations or support inter-departmental collaboration. The position operates within a multidisciplinary team framework, coordinating closely with educators, healthcare providers, and community agencies to enhance student well-being.

• Manage a diverse caseload of students requiring psychosocial support by employing a comprehensive approach to assess social, emotional, and cultural factors impacting their educational experience.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing various therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Lead initiatives to address protective service issues and assist families with making informed life care decisions, ensuring that students’ rights and preferences are prioritized throughout their treatment process.
• Educate and coordinate with families, caregivers, and community resources, proactively connecting them to available support services to prevent hospital readmissions and enhance ongoing care.
• Supervise and mentor junior social workers, interns, and volunteers, ensuring high standards of practice and effective service delivery.
• Respond promptly to psychosocial service requests, coordinating with the healthcare team to facilitate timely intervention and minimize delays in care.
• Participate in team rounds and case conferences to integrate insights from various disciplines into cohesive care strategies.
• Remain on-call as necessary, ready to provide crisis intervention and support for urgent situations that may arise within the school context.

The primary clientele include students facing complex psychosocial issues, including but not limited to mental health challenges, family dynamics, and socioeconomic barriers. The LCSW will advocate for these students, working tirelessly to empower them and their families towards self-determination and improved outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant social work experience, particularly in a school or community-based setting.
• Proficiency in case management and crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and families.

• Experience working with adolescent populations in educational settings.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention, therapeutic modalities, and community resource mobilization.
• Previous supervisory or mentorship experience in a clinical setting.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
