Position Overview

Vitalize Behavioral Health and Psychometrics, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team as a Telehealth Specialist. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions via telehealth while adhering to the organization’s schedule.
• Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans that reflect the psychological, emotional, and social needs of assigned clients.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, their families, and referral sources, ensuring a coordinated care approach.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives by engaging in task groups and contributing to program development.
• Participate in regular in-service training and supervision meetings to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
• Ensure client records are detailed, accurate, and compliant with state licensing standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Possess a current, valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling capacity.
• Proficient in using computer software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), for documenting client interactions and treatment progress.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, displaying self-direction and motivation in a remote work setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services or online counseling.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic methodologies applicable to the virtual landscape.
• Previous involvement in group therapy settings and client-centered treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
