This role is fully remote, you can reside anywhere in the U.S. but you must be able to work EST timezone. In this role, you'll design, build, and optimize ServiceNow solutions — including Security Incident Response (SIR) capabilities — while partnering directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. This position is available immediately for a qualified candidate who can obtain the required Public Trust clearance.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with project teams to understand client business transformation objectives and translate them into technical requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on ServiceNow capabilities during stakeholder meetings, offering solutions and recommendations
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions — including core configuration, flow design, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, Portal development, and third-party integrations
  • Build and maintain business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and workflows/flows
  • Troubleshoot issues for end users and stakeholders, and determine problem areas within the current framework

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives, and release planning
  • Develop processes that improve user access and platform navigation
What You'll Bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and consult on technical decisions (presenting options with pros, cons, and risks)
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, Angular JS, XML, and structural programming concepts
  • Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including Service Portal, widgets and pages, REST APIs, GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideForm, GlideUser, and GlideAjax
  • Experience building custom applications, plus working knowledge of UI Builder, Flow Designer, and Workspaces
  • Experience with update sets, source control, and instance migration best practices
  • Advanced problem-solving ability and a consultative, client-facing mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience configuring SIR playbooks, workflows, and security incident state models
  • Familiarity with Security Operations (SecOps) integrations, including Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Response modules
  • Experience integrating third-party tools (SIEM, EDR, threat intel feeds) via APIs, MID Server, or IntegrationHub
  • Background in security operations, incident response, or SOC workflows
Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SIR (preferred)
