The Senior Audit Solutions Consultant will be responsible for successfully leading our largest US customers and prospective customers through exploration and evaluations of Caseware solutions. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor, working collaboratively with top accounting firms as they navigate critical decisions around audit technology modernization. By taking a consultative approach, you will be their partner to guide them through all aspects of their software evaluation and help plan for their future implementation. You will also liaise with team members in account management, training, support and product, as well as with our strategic partners, to help ensure key customer needs are addressed on a timely basis, and professionally.
This role is remote and open to candidates who reside in and are eligible to work in the United States.
Note: Candidates must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
What you will be doing:
  • Collaborate with our Strategic Account Managers to architect and execute comprehensive, long-term technology transformation plans for our largest prospects and customers.
  • Guide customers through their technology transformation journeys by understanding their organizational needs (communications, change management, training, support strategy) and translating these into clear plans for successful evaluation & adoption.
  • Lead evaluation activities including presentations, trials & pilots, sharing information on solutions expertise and best practices with customers, while coordinating with technical or product SMEs where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite, operational, and technical stakeholders across large accounting firms.
  • Act as the bridge between customers and Product teams, gathering and translating customer feedback into clear, actionable insights that inform product development while helping prospects understand how our roadmap addresses their business needs.
  • Work closely with CPA.com, Caseware's strategic partner in the US market to ensure professional services are planned and delivered appropriately.
  • Provide domain expertise and insight to other key Customer teams e.g., Product, Marketing, Engineering & Customer Success to inform strategy and internal initiatives.
  • Attendance at Conferences and Events, maintaining relationships with customers and staying up to date with industry standards and trends.
  • Facilitate user group sessions with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Speaking on webinars, performing outreach, authoring thought leadership, and contributing to other special projects, as relevant to your experience and personal career goals.

What you will bring:
  • Qualifications & Experience Required

Experience (must meet one of the following):
  • 5+ years conducting external audit engagements on financial statements at a Public Accounting Firm (not consulting or internal audit),

OR
  • Experience designing or implementing software solutions for external audit teams within the national office of a Public Accounting Firm,

OR
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer success, account management, implementation) at a SaaS company serving public accounting firms, with strong knowledge of external audit processes.

Additional Required Experience & Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with and advise senior leadership at CPA firms.
  • A sound understanding of technology within the audit and accountancy sector.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Strong organization skills with experience tracking and managing multiple deliverables and tasks.
  • A resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and problem-solving skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification
  • Experience with product design or software development.
  • Direct experience utilizing Caseware to perform engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in project, product or program management.
  • Deep understanding of accounting, financial processes and technologies
  • Experience with CRM systems and tools for sales and lead management
  • Experience in Product, Product Marketing, or Sales, or working closely with those functional teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (E.g., Salesforce)
