What is a remote storyboard artist?

A Remote Storyboard Artist is a creative professional who visualizes scripts and concepts by drawing scenes and sequences, primarily for films, television, or advertising, while working from a remote location. They collaborate with directors, writers, and producers via digital tools to translate ideas into visual narratives, ensuring the story flows smoothly. This role requires strong drawing skills, knowledge of storytelling techniques, and proficiency with digital illustration software. Working remotely, storyboard artists communicate and share their work online, making it possible to contribute to projects from anywhere in the world.

To thrive as a Remote Storyboard Artist, you need strong drawing skills, visual storytelling ability, and a solid understanding of cinematography, often supported by a degree in animation, illustration, or a related field.
