Stem Psychological Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals grappling with the effects of trauma. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will enable our clients to embark on their journey towards healing and resilience.

Located in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Stem Psychological Center is a leading outpatient mental health facility that specializes in treating a variety of trauma-related disorders. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our team is committed to using evidence-based practices to foster recovery and personal growth in each patient.

The role will be conducted entirely via telehealth, allowing for flexible hours that can accommodate both the needs of our therapists and our patients. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required for patient appointments or emergencies. • Perform thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the building of resilience in patients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and promoting overall mental wellness.
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated and coherent care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for those in need.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available coping strategies, and external resources to assist in their treatment journeys.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually improve treatment approaches.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes clients facing the challenges of PTSD, mood disorders, and anxiety resulting from traumatic experiences. You will serve a diverse clientele, ensuring that all treatment is respectful and culturally sensitive.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on trauma-focused therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.
• Excellence in interpersonal communication, with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Capability to remain composed in high-stress situations, providing steady support to clients in crisis.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological tools essential for remote therapy.
• A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach in patient care.

• Specialized training in trauma-informed modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating workshops on trauma recovery.
• Familiarity with best practices in telehealth delivery and virtual patient engagement strategies.
