Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of clients in a school setting, focusing on both in-session treatment and homework assignments designed to reinforce therapeutic concepts.
• Utilize standardized psychological assessments and diagnostic tools to accurately evaluate and identify the mental health needs of students, formulating clear and actionable treatment plans.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the students' academic and personal goals, ensuring that interventions are culturally competent and evidence-based.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services by assessing risks, including suicidal ideation, and coordinating necessary actions such as referrals for hospitalization when required.
• Work in conjunction with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to create a holistic approach to each student's care, facilitating communication and advocating for student needs within the educational system.
• Document client interactions meticulously, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies while preparing for potential audits and assessments.
• Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures that enhance service delivery and promote best practices within the organization.
• Participate in continuous professional development through staff meetings, training workshops, and peer supervision to stay abreast of the latest psycho-social treatment trends and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support students ranging from elementary to high school level, addressing a myriad of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Your role is pivotal in not only fostering mental health but also enhancing academic performance through supportive counseling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work with an active LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health services, particularly in a school or youth-focused setting.
• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to navigate complex individual and family dynamics, exhibiting cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in your practice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with parents and educational staff.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
