This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while maintaining essential interactions with multidisciplinary teams via virtual platforms. The norm is a climate-controlled office setting for virtual meetings, where daily communication with healthcare providers and department members occurs. You will have the tools necessary to effectively connect with patients and colleagues while remaining compliant with remote work standards.

• Conduct assessments and, when necessary, diagnose patients to evaluate their mental health status, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) among other tools.
• Develop personalized care plans that consider cultural diversity and the specific needs of the patient population, addressing overarching mental health challenges.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and continually assess patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to support healing and recovery.
• Document all relevant treatment records, reports, and clinical information accurately and timely, adhering to both organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to create effective treatment strategies aimed at achieving desired outcomes, and facilitate supportive transitions in care.
• Act as a vital referral link for patients, establishing a strong network with other treatment providers and ensuring continuity of care.
• Provide educational mentorship to students, interns, and new staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Engage in peer reviews and clinical collaborations under the direction of supervisors to enhance the skills and performance of the entire care team.

The LCSW will work primarily with patients facing the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. This role requires sensitivity and a nuanced understanding of both the physical and mental health issues that accompany such challenging medical conditions. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, we encourage applications from candidates with a stronger background in mental health care, particularly those with experience in outpatient settings or familiarity with oncology patients. The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
