This role is fully remote. Priority will be given to candidates who live within commuting distance of an airport.
Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the construction projects from General Contractor bid award through grand opening. This role serves as the primary point of contact for contractors, architects, engineers, landlords and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safety, completely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards. This includes schedule management, project financial management and administration, conducting quality oversight, coordinating activities of external vendors and internal stakeholders, managing the turnover process from construction completion through training & opening. Interfaces and coordinates with Real Estate, Development, Design, Permitting, Facilities, IT, Operations, Training, and Marketing as well as Landlord Reps and AHJ's. Works with the Construction Coordinator on project set up and close out.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple restaurant construction projects from bid-award to opening
  • Coordinate activities of contractors, consultants, landlords, AHJs and internal stakeholders
  • Review, manage, and approve GC & vendor changes/invoices and track against the project budget. Forecast project spend
  • Manage construction progress and proactively identify opportunities, risks, delays, costs impact and develop exploitation/mitigation options
  • Oversee and manage the transition from construction completion to Operations through training and opening
  • Prepare project reports, schedules and forecasts
