We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly driven Contract Recruiter (1099) to join our expanding team in the Commercial services industry. As an independent contractor, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting top-tier talent for construction roles within our organization. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent for our construction and commercial services roles.
  • Conduct thorough screenings of candidates' qualifications and skills to ensure they meet the needs of the company.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop role-specific recruiting strategies.
  • Provide a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruiting process, from initial contact through offer negotiation.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in recruiting practices.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including the assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within the construction and commercial services industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong understanding of the recruiting process and the ability to implement best practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in the use of recruitment software and databases.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
