Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting secure telehealth sessions that maintain the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality.
• Performing comprehensive assessments of clients' relational dynamics, mental health concerns, and familial contexts to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Applying family systems therapy methodologies to address issues such as communication breakdowns, relationship conflicts, and family stressors effectively.
• Providing crisis intervention and support when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients and their families at all times.
• Maintaining accurate electronic records that comply with legal and ethical standards, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Educating clients about effective communication tools, conflict resolution skills, and coping mechanisms tailored to their unique situations.
• Collaborating with a dedicated virtual team of other therapists and mental health professionals to create a network of comprehensive care for clients.
• Staying current with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, contributing to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.
• A master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in a related setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
