Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to support procurement, sourcing, and technology initiatives. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, procurement teams, and IT, ensuring requirements are understood, solutions are implemented effectively, and procurement technology platforms are optimized.

Hands-on experience with LevelPlan and/or JAGGAER is required.

Work Model: Remote (US Based)

Contract Duration: 4-5 months | W2

Responsibilities:

  • Documentation — Create process flows, training materials, and user documentation.
  • Process Improvement — Identify automation opportunities and system enhancements.
  • Agile Participation — Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
  • Issue Resolution — Analyze system issues, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
  • UAT Management — Develop and execute user acceptance testing plans; validate system functionality.
  • Functional Specifications — Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical documentation.
  • Workshops & Stakeholder Sessions — Lead requirement-gathering meetings and cross-functional workshops.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work with developers, vendors, and consultants to deliver technology solutions.
  • System Lifecycle Support — Coordinate implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, and post-production support.
  • Platform Support — Administer, configure, and enhance procurement technology platforms, including LevelPlan and/or JAGGAER.
  • Requirements Gathering — Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to collect, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
  • Procurement Process Support — Support strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, and purchasing workflows.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Experience with SDLC methodologies.
  • Proficiency with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst.
  • Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with LevelPlan and/or JAGGAER (required)
  • Experience creating workflow diagrams, process maps, and documentation.
  • Strong background in gathering and documenting business/functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
