The Remote Sql Developer Data Analyst primarily focuses on analyzing data, creating reports, and managing SQL databases to support business decisions. Data Engineers build and maintain data pipelines, infrastructure, and architecture to enable data collection and processing at scale. While both roles require SQL skills and often overlap in data handling, Data Engineers typically work on the technical infrastructure, whereas Data Analysts interpret data for insights.
You’ll work with the development team to build and maintain our legacy claim auditing system. You’ll analyze needs and the environment to ensure the solutions you develop consider the current architecture, the operating environment, and future functionality or enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of medical claims, member data, and provider data.
Agile Execution: Work effectively within Agile-based project frameworks.
Development & Maintenance: Modify existing programs to meet new standards and conduct rigorous unit testing.
Implementation Support: Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.

Job Requirements
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT, Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
Data Expertise: Extensive experience with large datasets and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
Technical Stack: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Hadoop, Python, and Java.
Performance Tuning: Experience in SQL optimization using SQL Profiler and Query Execution Plans.
Processes: In-depth understanding of ETL processes, the SDLC, and QA within a SQL environment.
Healthcare Specialized: Experience with healthcare data, health forms, and addressing operational data issues.
Analytics: Familiarity with advanced analytics and resolving data issues to ensure optimal performance.
Desired Skills & Experience
Agile Frameworks: Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other advanced frameworks.
Big Data: Experience with PySpark and Cloudera Hadoop.
