We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking SQA Manager to lead a high-performing team of QA Leads and Engineers across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Head of QA, this role owns the full quality lifecycle - from test strategy and automation governance to team development and release readiness. The ideal candidate is a proactive technical leader who champions AI-augmented testing practices, enforces quality standards with rigor, and drives continuous improvement across onshore and offshore teams.

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and coach QA Leads and Engineers across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, hiring, and professional development.
  • Ensure adequate resource coverage across all assigned applications and projects.
  • Test Strategy & Quality Governance:
  • Own the development of test strategies, test plans, test case reviews, and impact analysis.
  • Enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices across the team.
  • Conduct regular QA audits to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Automation & AI-Augmented Testing:
  • Define and govern automation strategy, including scope, reusability, and maintainability standards.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted and self-healing automation frameworks.
  • Mentor the automation team on modern tools including Playwright, Selenium, NodeJS and AI-native testing platforms.
  • Risk & Quality Oversight:
  •  Evaluate and communicate risks associated with testing strategies and recommend mitigations.
  • Monitor QA metrics, defect trends, root cause analyses, and quality dashboards proactively.
  • Leverage predictive analytics to surface quality issues before they reach production.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Development, Project Management, QA Managers, product managers, and Program Owners to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in production deployment validation and post-release support activities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  •  Identify and implement process improvements driven by data and AI-assisted quality metrics.
  • Stay current on emerging QA trends, tools, and AI developments impacting the testing landscape.

What you will bring to the table...

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 12+ years of software quality assurance experience.
  • Minimum 6+ years in a QA management or leadership role. 
  • Expected in depth automation experience.
  • Test Automation:
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks including Selenium, Playwright, NodeJS, and Appium.
  • Experience building scalable, reusable automation frameworks with self-healing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and tools such as Node JS, JMeter, and Postman.
  • AI-Augmented Testing:
  • Ability to validate AI/ML-powered features including LLM-integrated and prompt-based workflows.
  • API & Application Testing:
  • Frontend and backend application validation experience REST API testing proficiency.
  • Functional and load/performance test plan development.
  • SDLC:
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of QA into automated build and release processes.
  • Familiarity with AI-augmented development workflows and their impact on QA coverage.
  • Tools & Platforms:
  • Test management: TestRail, JIRA.
  • Device/API testing: Kobiton, Postman.
  • Time tracking & traceability: Tempo, JIRA.
  • Debugging tools and techniques for identifying and resolving application errors.
  • Quality & Risk Management:
  • Risk-based testing strategy and risk identification.
  • Defect lifecycle management and root cause analysis.
  • QA metrics, dashboards, and predictive quality analytics.

  • Travel requirements: Up to 10% travel.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $160,000 USD annually.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
