WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Digital Analytics & TrackingSpecialist is a high-impact, technical role within the Business Intelligence (BI) team, designed for a practitioner who thrives on autonomy and full ownership of the digital data ecosystem. This position serves as the bridge between Marketing, IT, and Engineering, ensuring that website data is captured accurately, ethically, and strategically across all platforms.
Operating within a culture that maintains a high standard of excellence, this role is designed for an analytical, results-oriented professional with a keen ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that solve marketing and eCommerce-related business problems. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who can navigate ambiguity and architect solutions independently rather than follow a prescribed checklist. While highly collaborative across teams, the candidate must be self-reliant and motivated by a desire to find answers that enable the marketing and ecommerce team to meet and exceed goals. This is a role for a technical expert responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our web data-from foundational tracking architecture in GTM and GA4 to sophisticated behavioral analysis-viewing data as a product that requires constant optimization, rigorous governance, and proactive evolution.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This role will work a hybrid schedule from our Gilbert, AZ office. Remote candidates will be considered.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Design the end-to-end strategy and implementation of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4, establishing a standardized enterprise event schema and BigQuery strategy to ensure accurate behavioral measurement and long-term data governance.
  • Manage the technical implementation and maintenance of user consent tools, including cookie banners and privacy modals, while partnering with the Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer to align tracking capabilities with evolving global privacy regulations and Google's user consent frameworks.
  • Maintain and optimize enterprise data layers by partnering with IT and Engineering to ensure stable, high-integrity data flows while proactively enriching schemas with the attributes necessary to drive insights and measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with BI and Engineering teams to drive the architecture of website data assets within Snowflake, providing the technical requirements and strategic input needed to optimize marketing tool deployments.
  • Translate high-volume website behavior and eCommerce performance into actionable insights using SQL, statistical analysis, and advanced visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Advise marketing and sales functions as the primary subject matter expert on website behavior, translating complex data trends into strategic business recommendations.
  • Provide critical data support for the CRO specialist by validating tracking for A/B testing initiatives and analyzing results to ensure data-driven confidence in the optimization roadmap.
  • Audit website tracking and UTM parameters regularly to maintain data integrity and resolve attribution gaps that impact marketing spend.
  • Automate the development of regular reports and dashboards to reduce manual overhead and provide the marketing team with real-time visibility into key performance indicators.
  • Advance the organization's measurement capabilities by proactively researching and adopting emerging web analytics technologies and privacy-first tracking methods.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of dedicated experience in digital analytics, marketing technology, or web data engineering.
  • Excellent analytical skills, a high degree of business acumen, and an ability to understand, summarize and develop actionable insights from a high volume of website data.
  • Advanced mastery of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM); deep understanding of event-driven data collection and client/server-side tagging architecture.
  • High proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and a strong conceptual understanding of cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Google BigQuery.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical data concepts to non-technical business stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical schemas.
  • Expert ability to build executive-level dashboards and automated reporting suites using Tableau.
  • Specialized knowledge of user consent frameworks (Consent Mode v2), global privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and technical implementation of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs).
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Eager to learn new tools, platforms, and processes.
  • Previous experience supporting eCommerce or high-growth digital marketing environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven history of leading large-scale GA4/GTM deployments and managing the technical components of user privacy and consent modals.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with Engineering, IT, and Data Architects to drive backend data requirements.
  • Experienced in developing and executing complex analysis projects that require working across teams and data sources to deliver actionable insights.
  • Experience in analytic and statistical techniques such as multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with Google suite required. Key tools: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google BigQuery.
  • SQL and database experience is a required (e.g. Snowflake).
  • Experience with visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Looker Studio), marketing automation tools, and digital/website platforms (Adobe) is a plus.

BENEFITS
