eCommerce Tech Lead - SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
Location: Remote
POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Lead the technical development of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) applications while remaining an active contributor to the codebase.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of developers by driving coding standards, best practices, and solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.
  • Balance hands-on development with technical mentoring, code quality, and delivery ownership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, develop, and enhance enterprise eCommerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
  • Serve as the technical lead for one or more Agile development teams.
  • Develop complex features, custom extensions, integrations, and reusable components.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into high-quality application code.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and support developers through technical guidance, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with architects to implement approved solution designs and technical standards.
  • Estimate development effort and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Work closely with QA to ensure comprehensive unit, integration, and functional testing.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of software development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development experience.
  • Proven experience leading development teams on enterprise eCommerce projects.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and secure coding practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Technical knowledge:
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.

The salary range for this opportunity is $116,000-$180,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
