Job description

Dark Wolf is looking for an Information System Security Manager to help the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Mater / Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Directorate obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate for a classified cloud environment. This position is primarily remote and will require support out of one of the following Dark Wolf Hubs - Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities in close coordination with COTR and Sponsor Staff management.
  • Deliver strategic recommendations to continually refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and the overall reporting lifecycle.
  • Ensure the operational readiness and effectiveness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.
  • Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable, high-impact analytical products.
  • Maximize the utility of existing security tools to correlate disparate information and synthesize data into actionable intelligence.
  • Drive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program, implementing technical solutions that directly maximize time-to-mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience 
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework
  • Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment 
  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following SIEM tools: Splunk. Sentinel, ELK Stack, Crowdstrike 
  • Experience with Infrastructure and Cloud Security tools including: Terraform/Ansible, Github. 
  • At least one (1) of the following cyber security certifications: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP
  • Strong experience with DoD and Air Force Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Proficient with a major cloud services platform, i.e. GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, related field
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with task management, metrics collection, and status reporting to management
  • Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technology
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in the areas of resource allocation, workload management, and contract management
  • Any additional certifications relevant to system and cyber security not previously listed

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $145,000.00 - $175,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
