OTE: $350,000–$380,000 (Base + Uncapped Commission + Equity)

Annual Quota: $1.0M–$1.2M New ARR

As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Director to own the New York Metro territory and drive new enterprise customer acquisition.

Position Summary

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the territory strategy while managing the complete enterprise sales cycle—from prospecting through contract negotiation and close. This is a true hunter role focused on generating new business within Fortune 1000 and upper mid-market organizations.

The ideal candidate has a proven history of exceeding enterprise software quotas, building executive relationships with CISOs and security leaders, and consistently closing six- and seven-figure SaaS transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Own and exceed a $1.0M–$1.2M annual new ARR quota.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across New York Metro and Northern New Jersey.
  • Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, executive networking, partner relationships, referrals, and industry events.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution.
  • Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Security Architects, Security Engineering leaders, Infrastructure teams, and executive decision-makers.
  • Conduct executive presentations and business value discussions around AI-powered cybersecurity, observability, SIEM modernization, and security data optimization.
  • Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts alongside Sales Engineering.
  • Execute a disciplined MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product Management, and Channel Partners to maximize territory growth.
  • Represent DataBahn.ai at industry conferences, customer events, executive briefings, and partner engagements.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of successful Enterprise SaaS sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling Cybersecurity, SIEM, SOAR, Observability, Security Analytics, Cloud Security, Data Platforms, or AI Security solutions.
  • Consistent history of exceeding enterprise quotas of $1M+ annually.
  • Experience closing enterprise transactions ranging from $150K to $1M+ ARR.
  • Proven success selling into Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder enterprise buying cycles.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-level leadership.
  • Working knowledge of MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
  • Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM.
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional prospecting and territory planning skills.
