Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Reviewer (NY - Workers' Comp Certified)

Overview

Dane Street is seeking experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeons licensed in New York and certified in New York Workers' Compensation to join our growing team of independent physician reviewers. In this role, you will apply your spine surgery expertise to conduct comprehensive medical record reviews and provide objective, evidence-based clinical opinions.

This is a fully remote opportunity that allows you to customize your schedule while working as a 1099 independent contractor.

Position Description

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing medical records, preparing clear clinical summaries, engaging in peer-to-peer communications when necessary, and responding to client-specific questions related to spinal conditions, surgical and non-surgical management, causation, impairment, and disability in the context of workers' compensation cases.
