JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Global Languages, Literatures, and Culturesat The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time lecturer openings for the 2025 - 2026 Academic Year.

Job Duties

  • Part-time lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, German and Slavic Languages and Literatures, French and Francophone Studies, Comparative Literature, or Asian Studies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a related field is required.
  • In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.

These are one semester or summer session, non-tenure track appointments.

Summer lecturers normally teach one to two courses.
