Job description

We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Client Account Manager (CAM) to serve as the primary liaison between our clients and internal teams. In this role, you will manage key client relationships, ensure exceptional service delivery, and drive account success through communication, problem-solving, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts (Tier 1, 2, and 3)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through regular client touchpoints (weekly, biweekly, monthly)
  • Respond to client inquiries within 4 hours and carrier inquiries within 24–48 hours
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues between clients, carriers, and internal teams
  • Manage account activities including inbox monitoring, reporting, and project coordination
  • Ensure accurate processing of freight audit and billing functions
  • Identify improvement opportunities for clients and present insights monthly
  • Prepare and present account performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and production teams
  • Develop and maintain client-specific procedures (SOPs)
  • Train clients and partners on systems and services as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional experience or education preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in account management, customer service, logistics, or operations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
