Job description

SR. FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST (D365)

We are seeking an experienced financial systems analyst with a technical mindset and functional domain expertise in finance and operations. This role requires a thorough understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and functionality to configure and customize D365 ERP for the new and evolving business processes. You will have the opportunity to work on projects and systems from the ground up as we continue to scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage D365 F&O configurations, customizations, and integrations while ensuring compliance with security protocols, data privacy standards, and internal audit requirements to minimize risks and prevent unauthorized access
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and impact analyses for new processes, features, or custom flows (using X++, Power Automate, etc.), implementing safeguards to protect critical business data and operations
  • Project manage across all key phases of development - requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and go-live success
  • Architect and implement solutions in D365 F&O, focusing on modules such as GL, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Inventory, and Cash and Bank Management
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom components in D365 F&O using X++, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOp
  • Develop and implement integrations with third-party systems using modern APIs and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Finance, Application Software, and Information Technology
  • Liaison with Microsoft's support team and escalate issues as needed
  • Handle confidential financial, operational, and proprietary data with the utmost discretion, including regular audits, user access reviews, and incident response to maintain system integrity
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and optimize D365 F&O processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and minimal downtime in a dynamic operational environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, physics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or other STEM discipline
  • 4+ years of combined work experience as a developer, business systems analyst or product manager, with at least 2 of those years in a finance or supply chain domain
  • Experience with SQL

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Dynamics 365
  • ERP and related systems development or implementation of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash Cycle or Financial Systems
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority or structure
  • Experience working in fast paced development environments in a compliant manner (consistent track record of "innovation with caution")
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to create original and creative solutions
  • Experience building robust testing plans and familiarity with change management best practices

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • This position is based in Hawthorne, CA (Los Angeles area), and requires being onsite full-time - hybrid and remote work will not be considered

Level 3: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00
