Work Environment

As a remote team member of our outpatient office, you will enjoy an environment that prioritizes work-life balance. Our work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to focus on your clinical roles while minimizing stress. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of mental health professionals, leveraging technological tools to facilitate effective communication and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients during initial consultations.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to foster independence and resilience.
  • Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, utilizing ongoing assessments and feedback to enhance care delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and integrated approach to mental health treatment.
  • Stay informed about emerging research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, incorporating new findings into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults experiencing mood disorders, including those coping with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our patient population is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to support individuals from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their mental health journeys with empathy and understanding.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
  • Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, specifically in managing mood disorders using CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic frameworks.
  • Understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists and other healthcare team members.
  • Demonstrable history of successful interventions and outcomes in treating mood disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with a varied clientele.
