SATCOM Cyber Operations Analyst
The Opportunity:
Bring cyber and space expertise to support key Space Force clients in the satellite communication (SATCOM) mission area. Join a high-performance team to support the planning and creation of next-generation SATCOM capabilities. Provide and integrate cyber strategies into mission systems. Shape and contribute cybersecurity requirements for current and future systems in the SATCOM mission area.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience providing cyber protection strategies, including Certification and Accreditation, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and the DoD information assurance certification and accreditation process or the DoD information technology security certification and accreditation process
  • Experience with military or commercial SATCOM mission systems
  • Knowledge of System Acceptance and Deficiency Review Board processes
  • Knowledge of the cloud computing and software development lifecycle for both legacy software programs and delivery models, and Agile Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) software delivery
  • Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
  • Ability to articulate cybersecurity issues to operations, learn new systems and mission areas, and apply cybersecurity best practices with ease
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience in cyber protection strategies, Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in cyber protection strategies, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in cyber protection strategies

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience providing operations and sustainment guidance for current and future SATCOM programs
  • Experience supporting command headquarters in support of military SATCOM programs
  • Experience providing USG, DoD, commercial, and international partners with operational management, planning, technical assistance, and assessments to support delivery of SATCOM resources
  • Experience with SATCOM terminals, SATCOM space vehicles, and payload engineering diagrams and packages to support RMF activities across SATCOM programs
  • Experience briefing senior leadership
  • Experience with SAP programs and the JSIG process
  • Knowledge of Space Force operations and procedures
  • Ability to independently multitask as required and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic team environment
  • CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
