Gentle Strength Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will play a critical role in delivering mental health services to diverse populations across Oakland, California, and surrounding areas. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining excellent client care. Although this position is remote, you will remain part of a collaborative team environment, participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to share insights and strategies for effective practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clientsโ€™ needs, mental health issues, and strengths, ensuring accurate diagnoses to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with client goals, adapting interventions to meet the evolving needs of each client.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling sessions, employing clinically sound approaches and therapeutic techniques.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate clientsโ€™ progress toward treatment goals, adjusting therapeutic interventions as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to create an integrated approach to client mental health care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations, ensuring immediate needs are met and appropriate follow-up care is arranged.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training, staying updated on the latest research and clinical practices in mental health care.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory for this role.
