Mindzen Psychiatry is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while concentrating on your clinical practice. Our team utilizes a robust electronic health record (EHR) system designed to streamline documentation and patient interactions. • Provide culturally responsive psychotherapy to individuals of all ages, including adults, teens, and children, as well as couples and groups.
• Manage a diverse caseload and ensure timely and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans via our EHR system.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care.
• Engage in regular team meetings, participate in peer consultation sessions, and pursue clinical training opportunities to hone your skills.
• Contribute creatively to the development of new programs and services aimed at enhancing our client care and organizational culture.

Your work as an LPCC will encompass a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from those facing anxiety and burnout to families in need of relational support. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with marginalized groups, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, ensuring that your counseling practice is both inclusive and tailored to meet the specific needs of these populations.

• Active and valid LPCC license in California.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, post-licensure, or substantial pre-licensure experience with specialized populations.
• Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnostics, ethical practices, and clinical documentation standards.
• Adept at working independently as well as collaboratively within a team framework.

• Experience working with marginalized communities, specifically BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Specialized training or certifications in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, substance use, or crisis intervention is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in digital health technologies and telehealth platforms.
