Job Title: Azure Application Migration Engineer (M&A)
Location: Remote (Grand Rapids, MI)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Range: $70/hr - $80/hr
- Role Overview/Job Responsibilities
Client is in an M&A transition and seeking two senior Azure resources to support migration of applications and workloads from a third-party data center into the client's Azure tenant, and to help manage the Azure environment post-migration.
- Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute application and infrastructure migrations from on-prem / vendor data center to Azure
  • Perform discovery, assessment, and requirement gathering for migrated applications
  • Design and implement Azure landing zones, networking, security, and governance
  • Manage and administer the Azure tenant during and after migration
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan migration waves and minimize business impact
  • Provide guidance and recommendations aligned with Azure best practices

- Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure application migration (IaaS / PaaS)
  • Solid knowledge of Azure tenant administration, networking, and security
  • Experience working in M&A or carve-out environments preferred
  • Ability to present well, lead discussions, and support discovery sessions
  • Comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders
