• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments through virtual consultations to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to ensure clients receive holistic and integrated care.
• Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, adjusting therapeutic methods to optimize effectiveness.
• Partake in ongoing professional development initiatives, attending workshops, webinars, and training sessions to stay current on best practices in mental health counseling.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve clinical services, enhance the quality of patient outcomes, and participate in quality assurance measures.

The mental health counselor will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. A key aspect of this role involves building rapport quickly and effectively, allowing for meaningful engagement with clients to foster trust and facilitate their journey toward healing.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active state license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of demonstrable experience providing mental health counseling to individuals experiencing emotional difficulties.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, enhancing client documentation and treatment planning processes.
• Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and a strong grasp of various therapeutic modalities.
