Our team operates in a fully remote setting, utilizing advanced telehealth technologies to provide seamless therapy sessions. You will leverage video conferencing software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document patient progress, schedule appointments, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Your daily activities will include a variety of critical tasks aimed at enhancing the mental health of your clients:

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques in individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health challenges, providing both learning and community support.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and recommendations for patient care.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to stay informed on the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

As a therapist at Hear-A-Mind Inc., you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that respects the unique backgrounds, cultures, and challenges of each client. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and creating effective treatment plans for diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a capacity for compassion and empathy.
• Strict adherence to professional ethics and boundaries, along with sound clinical judgment.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.

While not mandatory, the following are highly valued:

• At least two years of direct therapeutic experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Experience in delivering group therapy or facilitation of support groups.
• Familiarity with community resources for mental health and substance use support.
