Job description

Job Title: Project Manager Location-Type: Remote Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: (contract, perm, etc) 6 Month Contract - 20 hours/week Compensation Range: $38-44/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage project timelines, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned and deliver against key milestones.
  • Coordinate new product development and commercialization projects from concept through retail launch, including item setup, packaging updates, and launch execution.
  • Support strategic business initiatives, including a high-visibility $50M product launch and new retail opportunities 
  • Partner closely with Brand Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, Regulatory, Planning, and other internal stakeholders to drive projects to completion.
  • Track product milestones, monitor pricing and promotional activities, support Nielsen-related initiatives, and assist with ad hoc business projects.
  • Ensure critical deadlines are met while proactively identifying risks and driving solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (Client) industry.
  • Experience as an Associate Brand Manager or in a similar Brand Management role.
  • Proven project management experience leading commercialization and new product launch initiatives from concept through market launch.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, Regulatory, and Demand Planning.
  • Strong understanding of product commercialization and new product development processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote, part-time environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Instagantt or similar project management tools.
  • Experience with SKU or item setup processes.
  • Knowledge of product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Experience utilizing Nielsen data and consumer insights.
  • Background supporting large Client brands ($100M preferred).
  • Experience within the food and beverage industry (snacks, beverages, packaged foods, etc.).
