Job description

We're looking for a Project Manager who's great with people, obsessed with organization, and genuinely wants to do good work for good organizations. If that sounds like you - even if your resume doesn't tick every box, you should apply. We care about who you are, not just what you've done.

This is a full-time remote position. We have an office in Baltimore, so if you're local, awesome, but not required. Sorry, no contractors or international applicants.

About the Role

You'll be leading website projects that are big, complex, and packed with moving parts - and people. You'll be the calm in the chaos, the person everyone trusts to keep things on track, and the connector between clients and our internal team of strategists, designers and developers.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Leading your team through website builds from kickoff to launch
  • Managing scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
  • Supporting ongoing projects and client requests
  • Communicating clearly (and often) with your team and clients
  • Using tools like Basecamp, Google Workspace, Forecast, Zendesk, and Notion to keep everything humming
  • Reporting on account health to the leadership team

You'll Thrive Here If You:

  • Love design, tech, and smart digital experiences
  • Get a kick out of organization and collaboration
  • Like working in a smaller agency where your voice matters
  • Have a great sense of humor and a positive attitude
  • Are a strong communicator - written and verbal
  • Know how to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • Take responsibility seriously, but not yourself
  • Are a self starter and enjoy creative problem solving
  • Enjoy a good meeting (seriously, we like meetings)
  • Bonus points if you've worked with higher ed, cultural institutions, or nonprofits!

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience in digital project management
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including designers and developers
  • Experience with the web world, including a strong comfort level with AI tools, front-end development, content management systems, and cross-browser QA

What You'll Get

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay (range depends on your experience), and a ton of perks because we actually want people to enjoy working here.

  • 120+ hours of paid time off, plus your birthday
  • Flexible schedule
  • Company-supplied Mac setup
  • Generous holiday office closures
  • 401(k) with company match + profit sharing
  • Annual home office and travel stipends
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision (low to no cost)
  • Company-paid life, short- and long-term disability insurance
  • Support for preferred pronouns and inclusive communications

Office Perks (if you're in Baltimore):

We have a really nice office along the Jones Falls River. Including plenty of free parking, pool and gym access, stocked snacks, coffee, arcade machine, VR, pool table, all-gender restrooms, and a bar.

How to Apply

Fill out the application, include your resume, and tell us why you want this job. We read every cover letter because we want to know what makes you, you.

We'll reach out if it's a potential match. Promise.
