• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, ensuring a compassionate and ethical approach to mental health counseling.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to create and implement personalized treatment plans that encourage client progress.
• Engage clients in self-discovery processes, helping them gain insights into their feelings, relationships, and personal experiences.
• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey and facilitate the development of coping mechanisms to manage their mental health effectively.
• Engage in ongoing communication with clients to provide support, motivation, and adjustments to treatment as necessary.

Your primary focus will be working with stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. This population may include individuals dealing with mild anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions. Your role is essential in helping clients enhance their well-being and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licensure; candidates should have no disciplinary actions on their record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to effectively engage with clients.
• Proficiency with digital platforms and software for teletherapy sessions, as well as general computer literacy.

While not mandatory, experience in providing virtual mental health services will be an advantage. Familiarity with solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques is highly desirable, as well as a proven record of client success in therapeutic settings.
