This role is primarily remote, allowing our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively engaging with clients. Although you will be working from home, collaboration is encouraged through scheduled team meetings and regular activity updates. As this position operates in an outpatient setting, you will be part of a team that engages in client-focused strategies and multidisciplinary approaches to therapy.

• Provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, catering to their unique emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish treatment plans that align with each client’s specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Deliver group, family, couple, and individual therapy sessions in a remote setting while maintaining engagement and rapport.
• Keep accurate and current clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and workshops to stay updated on the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. The LPC will play a crucial role in addressing these problems and providing support to those with limited access to mental health resources. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for clinical practice.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse client populations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully within a healthcare team to optimize client care.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies for documentation and client management.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience in remote counseling or telehealth practices is an advantage, given the online nature of the work.

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, based on your experience and caseload.
