• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, establishing individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to groups, families, couples, and individuals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality of client information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and best practices.

Your primary focus will be on clients facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. You will work compassionately with individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health support, ensuring that all clients feel seen, heard, and understood in their therapeutic journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practices is essential.
