This role is situated within a remote community health clinic setting, where counselors will engage with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and security of client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health, attending relevant workshops, and pursuing licensure renewals as necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software necessary for documentation and record-keeping.

• Specializations in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling are highly desirable.
• Experience working in community health clinics or similar settings that focus on serving vulnerable populations.
• Knowledge of telehealth practices and technology to engage clients effectively in a remote setting.
