We’re hiring a full-time Multifamily Lending Officer for our Multifamily Housing Division.

As a Multifamily Lending Officer, you will play a crucial role in financing programs that contribute to our mission. In this role, you will:

  • Review, underwrite, and administer project funding applications for NH Housing financing programs including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Tax Exempt Bonds, Supportive Housing initiatives, and other funding sources as available.
  • Determine project feasibility by analyzing third party reports, development costs, and rental income. Analyze proposed project operating budgets for long term economic feasibility.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with the various funding source requirements from the federal and state government as well as NH Housing policy.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for developers and guide them through the full project funding cycle. Represent NH Housing’s interests when collaborating with external parties.

Your experience, skills, and education should include:

  • At least three to six years’ relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
  • Basic proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn new software systems, as needed.
  • Experience interpreting and maintaining compliance with complex federal and state regulations in order to administer financial or lending programs
  • Ability to review and analyze financial documents and budgets for underwriting projects.
  • Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in financial services, accounting, or administration preferred.
